Bird Watching
p
Birdwatching Group
Our group meets on the second Monday morning of each month. Group discussion takes place on many aspects of this well supported hobby as well as site visits agreed by the group to study birds in their habitat. Car sharing is arranged as necessary.

A Typical Report:-
We all enjoyed one of our best birdwatching days on the 9th of November 2009 at Worsbro Reservoir. A low haze over the water, as the frost lifted, was followed by a warm, still, sunny morning.
Lots of ducks, geese and gulls, with a good mix of waders, woodland birds and herons were observed.
A lot of Autumn colour still in the trees enhanced our slow stroll round the reservoir. We enjoyed every minute. A lovely morning to be out in the fresh air.
