Members interested in joining one of the following groups are advised to contact the relevant  co-ordinator to see if places are available.

Crown Green Bowling

This summer activity begins at Easter and ends in late September. Groups play between 10 am and 12.00 noon at Silkstone Lodge Bowling Club (Friday) and at Ardsley Bowling Club (Mondays and Thursdays).

Indoor Bowling

At present this is not proceeding.

Tenpin Bowling

This group was set up to help fill the Monday morning void left by the winter closure of the Crown Green Bowling Groups. The first gathering of members got their bowling underway in early October 2009 at the ‘Carlton Road Bowl’ and through that winter an average of 15/16 members turned out on a regular basis attempting to ‘Strike’ it lucky with varying degrees of success.

With a commencement time of 10.00 am we normally have the lanes to ourselves for the majority of the session. There is still plenty of room for other members who want to give it a try and with a reduced price of £2.60 per game it’s proving to be a good morning’s  entertainment. Members are randomly placed in teams by the Co-ordinator in order to bring an element of competition between the various teams.
