Reading Together (The 3 Ps)

This group meets fortnightly on Monday evenings at the Priory Campus, and has a varied programme throughout the year containing chosen extracts from plays, poetry and prose (the 3 Ps).

Sometimes the sessions are thematically based and sometimes focus on the work of a particular author. We enjoy sharing our responses to the selected material, and occasionally will present a short programme of readings to the U3A General Meeting.

We have joined with the Theatre Group to celebrate a particular event or writer, and also link on occasions with the Writing for Pleasure Group.

Our contributions to an evening’s programme can be filled with hilarity and fun, or deeply moving.

Most importantly we share our enjoyment of the written word and in so doing build our confidence and expertise in reading aloud.
