Our social events are open to all members. Barnsley U3A prides itself on being a very friendly and sociable group of people who like nothing more than having a fun night out. Consequently our events are very popular and you have to be quick to get tickets as often demand outstrips the capacity of the venues we use. Here are a few of the events we have planned
1 October 2010 - Barn Dance
Venue - Rockingham Community Centre, Hoyland Common.
Not strictly a social but make a note:
Barnsley U3A Macmillan Big Coffee Morning - 24th September 2010 - Help us beat the £770 we raised last year. The Choir are down to perform!!
29 November 2010 - Annual Dinner/ Christmas Lunch
Venue - Bluebell Inn, Dodworth. Tickets go on sale September 6th at the Monthly Meeting. Ring the Luncheon Club Coordinator after that date if you cannot get to a Monday Meeting and want a ticket.
Tickets for socials are normally obtainable from the ‘Ticket Table’ at the Monthly Meetings, or contact Jean Jermy.
